It’s hard to find good trail walking shoes that are vegan, so that is why I am very happy to have found these shoes by a company called Wicked Hemp. These are eco and vegan friendly built from earth-friendly materials that are durable and will last. The outsole is made of natural rubber and the shoe has a vegan nubuck toe, and is made up of 85 percent hemp. In addition, Wicked Hemp works under Fair Trade guide lines along with factories that are unionized in China. The reviewers over at ShoeBuy give these boots good reviews. Mentioning that they are very well made and comfortable on the feet. They come in 4 colors (lime, black, light blue and natural). Get these and you will have no excuse not to get out there and enjoy some fresh air and sunshine.

Saucony used to be my favorite running shoes….I always picked them because they had thick cushioned soles which helped to prevent shin splints. They were great for running and my occasional jogging. It’s nice to see a sneaker company put out a running shoe and advertise it as vegan. If you know of other vegan sneakers (besides the good eco-friendly folks at Simple) please leave a comment. Most of the vegan cowboy boots I’ve found look a little cheesy but these are awesome! They can pass for the real deal with an ostrich print foot and black leather-like upper. Vegan friendly – no animal products were used in the making of this boot.
